The rupture is hands-down the best 1v1 cruiser in the game. The trick to taking on a thorax is to use nos + stay out of blaster range while your autocannon shred him. 4x dual 180s + 2x med nos + 10mn MWD/webber/scrambler + armor tank/damage mods....
